Sales Account Representative Data Telecommunications & Security Solutions
Pay Rate
$50,000 a year plus 5% commission
Responsibilities
- Prospecting, cold calling and offering our structured cabling products and services to national companies.
- Maintain and Update CRM and document daily activity.
- Building and maintaining a sales funnel.
- Monthly Customers Visits and DEMO to book.
- Identify prospect needs and develop action plans and proposals; online/in-person presentations.
- Close the deal and maintain positive client relationships.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals.
- Develop a clear understanding of our cabling products and low voltage services: Field Operations, Cabling Projects, Construction Projects and National Rollouts.
Expectations during your 90 Day Probationary Period and During Employment (including but not limited to):
Daily Activities
- Schedule Upkeep: You are responsible for the upkeep of your calendar with details.
- Outbound Calls: You are required to make a minimum of 30 outbound calls to for new opportunities
- Sales Documentation: Any new opportunities you obtain that Bridge Global Services would submit a bid, you are responsible for ensuring all documents are uploaded to our project management database.
- CRM: At all times, you are required to enable connection with our CRM plugin. This allows our CRM to keep track of outbound emails and new contacts.
Weekly Activities:
- Meet and Greets: At least once a week you are expected to have a new face-to-face meeting with a new GC and/or EC. This excludes events set up by other parties.
Monthly Activities:
- Monthly Meeting: You are responsible for conducting a monthly meeting with owner to go over wins and loses from the month before along with any current/future plans
Quarterly Activities:
- Trade Shows: You are expected to attend at least one relevant trade show each quarter. This includes both as an attendee and vendor. These events must have a successful outcome with new connections and opportunities.
- Networking Event: You are expected to attend at least one relevant networking event held by trade partners each quarter. These events must have a successful outcome with new connections and opportunities
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-4 years in business development sales and account management.
- Proven record of average sale of $10,000 and upwards.
- Experience in Construction/Telecommunications is strongly preferred.
- Ability to close large national accounts and relay effective solutions.
- Skills needed: Persistent, hunting mentality, strong qualifying and closing skills to all levels, consultative approach. Must be accountable.
- Meet and Greets with General Contractors, IT Directors and Property Managers.
- In House 30 Calls per day while prospecting.
