Entry Level Low Voltage Network Data Cabling Apprentice

Schedule

Monday – Friday (8 hour shifts)
*Times may vary based on jobsite (ex. 7a-3p, 8a-4p or 9a-5p)

Pay Rate

$15.00 to $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assisting your fellow team and leaders with cable pulls to execute the project accordingly – consists of but not limited to CAT6 and Fiber Optic Cabling
  • Terminating CAT6 and RJ45 at end locations
  • Labeling per company standards
  • Gear Runner (includes but not limited to: the office, distributor etc)
  • Bringing all personal tools and gear at the beginning of your shift to ensure you are prepared for all challenges, ladders included.
  • Adapting to different clientele and job environment changes day to day
  • Presenting yourself in a professional and clean manner both physically and verbally

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License AND Reliable Vehicle
  • Ability to go up and down ladders
  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull etc. up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements
  • Ability to work at fully extended height on lifts (scissor/boom)
  • Must be teachable and willing to learn all aspects of low voltage and expanding your knowledge
  • Must supply your own cordless drill and hand tools
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
